Dr. Chez has practiced Emergency Medicine in the North Lake Tahoe area for over thirty years. He is the founder and Medical Director of Gateway Urgent Care in Truckee which he opened in 1995.
Dr. Chez graduated from the University of Minnesota where he was an All American tennis player. He attended Medical School at St. Louis University and completed an internship/residency in Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. He became a member of the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 1984.
Dr. Chez is an avid skier, rock climber, and water-skier. He has many years experience in Sports medicine and injuries.
